VALENTINO JOINS ZDHC

In May 2024, Valentino joined the ZDHC Foundation as a Signatory Friend – Brand. a natural evolution of its commitment to sustainable chemical management, which began in 2013 with its adherence to the Detox campaign promoted by Greenpeace.

ZDHC is a multi-stakeholder organization that provides a common framework for sustainable chemical management in the fashion industry and works to reduce negative environmental impacts generated via wastewater, sludge and air emissions. Through its holistic approach to sustainable chemical management, ZDHC provides common and publicly available guidelines for the fashion and textile industry to protect workers, communities, and the environment.

By joining ZDHC as a Signatory Friend, Valentino commits to adopting the organization’s tools and guidelines in alignment with its mission and purpose. Joining ZDHC represents a significant step in line with Valentino’s sustainability strategy: the collaboration with the supply chain on chemical management with a systemic vision, a key element for a more responsible production.
