Valentino Beauty brought Vendetta fragrances to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, September 10, 2026. Last night, Valentino Beauty celebrated the launch of the new Vendetta fragrances with a takeover in Los Angeles, transforming the city into the setting of its latest fragrance story. In a Los Angeles road trip unfolding from day to night, the experience invited guests into an ode to emotional intensity shaped by instinct and unstoppable passion.

The celebration began by day with a road trip through some of LA’s most evocative locations associated with legendary stories of ardor mirroring the instinctive intimacy and intense magnetism that define the Vendetta fragrances’ story. The experience traced a journey where landmarks of love served as narrative anchors, and exclusive experiences immersed guests in the olfactive universe of Vendetta. By night, guests arrived at the Valentino Beauty ‘Vendetta Motel’—the quintessential pitstop of the classic Californian road trip. Set in the motel’s parking lot, secret scented encounters and unexpected moments translated the cinematic storytelling of the Vendetta campaign into a physical, lived experience, placing guests directly inside the Vendetta duo’s journey.

Reflecting the ‘us-against-the-world narrative’ of the fragrances, the event brought together real-life couples and dynamic duos who embody this same unstoppable passion. Among them were Valentino Beauty ambassadors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård, alongside Nicola Peltz Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham, Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris, Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus and Dave Franco and Alison Brie. A mix of actors, musicians, cultural tastemakers and Friends of the House—including Solange, Keke Palmer, Justice Smith, Brianne Howey, Ciara Miller.

Music carried the celebration into the night, beginning with an opening DJ set by Anastazja. Yung Lean took over the motel’s rooftop for a high-energy live performance. He was then reunited with one of his close collaborators, Surkin, who brought the celebration to a climactic conclusion with an electric DJ set. During his performance, Surkin, who composed an original mix of the Pet Shop Boys’ iconic hit ‘It’s a Sin’ as the soundtrack of the Valentino Vendetta campaign, also revealed the full mix of the soundtrack for the first time. At the center of the celebration stood Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo. Conceived as a cinematic ode to unstoppable passion, the fragrances explore the magnetic tension between two people drawn together by an instinct that cannot be contained. Vendetta Donna reveals a woody floral composition, opening with the vivid energy of blood orange before unfolding into an enveloping tuberose Osmobloom accord and a sensual sandalwood base. Vendetta Uomo offers a woody spicy expression, in which ginger gives way to an addictive cinnamon liqueur accord and a deep patchouli trail. Together, the fragrances embody a shared intensity while retaining their own distinctive character. This story is captured in the Vendetta campaign starring Valentino Beauty ambassadors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård. Directed by Romain Gavras, the film follows two lovers bound by instinct as they escape together on a journey of discovery, translating the fragrances’ emotional intensity into a tale of desire and freedom. To complete the story, the Valentino Beauty ‘Vendetta Motel’ also served as the stage to unveil Gavras’ ‘director’s cut’ of the Valentino Vendetta film. Through a celebration spanning the streets of Los Angeles and the imagined ‘Vendetta Motel’, Valentino Beauty translated Vendetta into a living, sensory experience. Blurring the boundaries between fragrance, passion, and the city itself, the event captured the spirit of Vendetta.
