MILANO FASHION WEEK WOMEN’S COLLECTION

The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and Maison Valentino are working together to create a series of appointments that will feature, from season to season, an emerging guest designer who will present their collection on the @maisonvalentino IG social platform.

Valentino and its Creative Director, in the spirit of nurturing the energy among the new generations of emerging designers, have decided to open the doors of their digital venues and offer these voices the opportunity to present their work and message: the places of the metaverse meet the contemporary multiverse, within a bubble of shared values.

The talent chosen this time by Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maison Valentino is Marco Rambaldi.

The decision to start with Rambaldi, born in 1990, is owed to his approach in representing the human being through an inclusive casting, in keeping with the values of an increasingly aware generation. A choice on the part of Pierpaolo Piccioli dictated not merely by aesthetics, but by an acknowledgment of Rambaldi’s authentic and tenacious attempt to break down stereotypes.

For Pierpaolo Piccioli, fashion must be deeply personal and celebrate the individual by welcoming their diversity and embracing the uniqueness of every human being. His work is a manifesto of pure inclusion. A radically romantic, emotional, and transversal aesthetic. His vision, narrated on the catwalk through the faces of ordinary people.
