'SKIN DEEP’ - AN ARTS COMMISION UNVEILED ON THE STREETS OF SYDNEY​

Maison Valentino unveils a special arts commission conceived in collaboration with Australian artist, choreographer and dancer, Chloe Leong. Titled Skin Deep, the work is presented through a collective of female dancers in a series of pop-up performances on the streets of Sydney, offering an open invitation to experience the Valentino L’École collection up close.​

The body, representative of freedom; the female body, emblematic of emancipation. The Valentino L’École collection by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli highlights the body in a celebration of femininity, humanity, and a personal sensuality.​

Echoing these messages, Chloe Leong will bring to life a captivating and physical expression of the collection. Skin Deep explores the vast and multi-dimensional inner landscape of the feminine, a balancing scale held within the beauty of the physical vessel. The dancers will wear key pieces from the Valentino L’École collection, furthering the dialogue through movement between the garments and the women within.​
