The San Francisco based painter, known for his abstract, distorted oil portraits, has created a limited edition series of ten hand painted Valentino Garavani VSLING Bags, available exclusively at Valentino’s Miami Design District boutique and online on Valentino.com, USA market only.

The one-of-a-kind bags come with a signed and numbered lithograph by Emilio Villalba. Each bag features hand painted clusters of playfully floating, abstract eyes and lips.

The bags can be pre-ordered at the Design District Boutique starting from Friday, November 29th and will retail for $5000.00.

On December 4th, a private launch event at Valentino’s Design District Boutique celebrates the partnership, with the artist present alongside Co-Host Colby Mugrabi.

For this occasion, the entire façade of the Valentino store will be covered with printed, colored vinyls of Emilio Villalba’s work.

In daylight, colors and transparencies interact to create fluid movements of light and obscurations, while at night the facade becomes a mixture of colors and shadows.
