Grand Tour: a journey through the Academies of Arts and Crafts
Maison Valentino is featured in a special documentary dedicated to its Bottega dell’Arte Couture Academy in Rome — a unique initiative that reflects the Maison’s enduring commitment to preserving and passing forward the artistry at the heart of Haute Couture.
Created by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the film project celebrates the excellence of Made in Italy through the lens of education, craftsmanship, and creative transmission. Offering an intimate look inside Italy’s academies of arts and crafts, the documentary shines a light on the people, passion, and savoir-faire that continue to shape the future of Italian craftsmanship.
Founded in 2015, Valentino’s Bottega dell’Arte welcomes a new generation of talents each year into an immersive nine-month journey guided by former Atelier professionals and Couture experts. More than a training program, it is a living experience of the Maison’s heritage — where students refine advanced sartorial techniques while contributing directly to the preparation of Valentino Couture collections and deepening their understanding of the Maison’s history, culture, and creative spirit.
