ART À PORTER

Embracing the aura of art, within the spaces of the Maison’s boutiques.

Valentino continues its artistic dialogue on the occasion of the opening of its new Parisian flagship, featuring the new store concept, on Avenue Montaigne 35. The brand explores a new collaboration with Italian artist Gioele Amaro, born in 1986.

The Paris-based architect uses the language of traditional media to create digital paintings that can fool even the most expert eye, mimicking the reflective appearance of metal sheets through prints on canvas or layers of paint.

His creative dialogue with the Maison started in 2021 with Valentino Re-Signify Part Two exhibition in Beijing. This year, from June 15th to July 15th, a selection of his artworks was displayed in the Paris boutique along with a bespoke billboard on Avenue de l'Opéra.

This artistic touch and the design details pervade the new store concept of Valentino. The brand’s aesthetic is also expressed by the involvement of specialist craftsmen: Massimiliano Pipolo, who created the ceramic handles, Fabio Cinti, with his geometric compositions in brass, and Alexandre Logé, who realized delicate chandeliers made of sculpted plaster.
