LEGAL WARRANTY FOR LACK OF CONFORMITY

Print

VALENTINO accepts full liability in the event that one or more items fails to conform with the sales contract and in the case of hidden defects as prescribed by the legislation in force.

If the customer wishes to bring legal action under the statutory warranty, they:

- have the right to bring action for a period of two years from the date of delivery of the item(s);

- may choose to have the item(s) either repaired or replaced, provided that the cost of their chosen option is not disproportionately high in comparison with the alternative option, the value of the item(s), or the extent of the defect;

- are under no obligation to provide proof of the existence of the defect for a period of two years from the date of delivery of the item(s).

The statutory warranty applies regardless of any other commercial warranties in force.

The customer may also make a claim under the warranty for hidden defects. In such case, the customer may either terminate the sales contract or accept a reduced sales price for the item(s).

In order to take advantage of these warranties, the customer must retain a copy of their order confirmation and/or delivery slip.

The warranties are only valid if items have been used correctly, for their intended purpose, and in accordance with the usage and care instructions indicated on and/or supplied with the items.
