FOSTERING TOMORROW’S VOICES
Maison Valentino strengthens its commitment to support new generations of designers building upon an inclusive global Community in the spirit of feeding the energy that reigns among the creative field. Italy’s Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) and Maison Valentino are continuing their link-up with new talent guest designers and have chosen Galib Gassanoff and Luca Lin, founders of the ACT N°1 label, for a guest spot during Milan Fashion Week in September 2022.
The project sees the guest label presenting its collection live streamed on the @maisonvalentino IG social platform. ACT N°1 is a creative project that Pierpaolo Piccioli chose to believe in and personally support, guided by a recognition of shared values and by a stregthening of grounds for exchange and coming together.
“The work of of Galib Gassanoff and Luca Lin is light and profound as the gaze of every young designer should be and perhaps how all ours should be. “ commented Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli. “Multiculturalism, respect for diversity and celebration of the human coexist without dogmatism, without presumption in a free and courageous creativity. I believe that supporting talents capable of combining beauty with the offering of a reflection is our responsibility, as well as interesting, because fashion can do a lot and has a lot to offer, always. I sincerely hope it is the first of many acts”.
