THE EDUCATION OF EXCELLENCE
Promoting the excellence of Made in Italy, sharing the brand's DNA and its unparalleled heritage with the new generations through concrete actions. On September 24th 2023, Maison Valentino was recognized with "The Education of Excellence" award during the 6th edition of the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2023, held at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli received the award, presented to him by Italian singer Elodie, inviting five Haute Couture Premiers to join him on stage, along with a representative from the new generation of seamstresses for each Atelier.
This award perfectly reflects the Maison’s dedication to the inclusion and education of the new generations, which lead numerous exchange projects with schools, universities and the creative world. Maison Valentino is committed to preserving the exceptional Italian craftsmanship and brand’s know-how, iconic codes and values over time, through the involvement of young talents. From this heartfelt commitment, in 2015 the "Bottega dell'Arte" was founded as an in-house academy within the brand, located at the Maison’s historic Atelier in Rome.
The Maison Valentino believes in empowering students and has made education one of its fundamental pillars, promoting an ongoing exchange of values between the past and the present.
