VALENTINO & DISNEY CREATE 100
Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli reinterprets the iconic Marvel character Hulk in Valentino Pink PP.
On its centennial anniversary, Disney celebrates art and creativity by bringing together brands, creators, and international talents in the fields of fashion, music, and culture. Through Disney's charitable initiative "Create 100", unique items and artworks inspired by each creator's personal connection to the stories and characters of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Studios were presented at a special charity auction.
In line with this initiative, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli participated by reinterpreting the iconic green color of the character into Valentino Pink PP. This subversive gesture aims to highlight the value of human fragility, which, seemingly in contrast to strength, actually represents an authentic expression of humanity.
The auction took place in 18 countries, and all proceeds were donated to "Make-A-Wish", the international non-profit organization that fulfills the wishes of children with serious illnesses.
