Maison Valentino, one of the highest expressions of Couture savoir-faire and of the Made in Italy excellence, joins Luxottica Group, global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of fashion, luxury and sports eyewear, to celebrate ‘Valentino Mirage’ an event to launch the first eyewear collection under the license agreement, signed in 2016.

A Change of Perspective is the fil rouge of the event, where each guest will actively participate in an immersive experience: ‘Though we see the same world, we see it through different eyes’ stated Virginia Woolf.
Valentino Mirage is created in collaboration with Real Live LLC, whose principals Jonathan Hochwald and Arthur Karpati are also producers of the renowned Sleep No More show and creators of New York’s famed McKittrick Hotel.
In this eyewear collection, Maison Valentino aesthetic and timeless elegance take form in a métissage of sensual designs and metals, glam crystals and nylon and on the temples the stud, the iconic symbol of the Maison. The craftsmanship, the attention to detail and to the materials used make the glasses an accessory with a unique value, just like all Valentino creations, under the Creative Direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli. Quality and expertise in this category is guaranteed by Luxottica.
The eyewear collection will be available in all Valentino boutiques and a selection of specialized retailers starting from mid February 2017.
