COUTURE REVOLUTION
The beauty of the soul is to be found in diversity, which is the starting point for the couturier when creating dresses able to celebrate unicity. The Haute Couture SS22 show, Anatomy of Couture, is part of this revolutionary axiom conceived by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli, and was presented on the stairs of the Atelier in Place Vendôme where friends and guests witnessed an intimate and poetic revolution of the standards. The designer's scientific approach to the project meets the grace of inclusivity, the modulated poetry of garments with a strong verticality originally thought for the bodies wearing them. A gentle, neat schism celebrates the beauty of real humanity, representing a variety of silhouettes, skin colours, and stages of life. A process where the steps are inverted - the bodies, the faces, the spirits and consequently the garments - without altering the final result, the research and the exaltation of grace intended not only as an abstract privilege reserved for the few but as a gesture of inclusivity and declaration of universal love.
