Lorenzo Posocco x Milan Montenapoleone
In Milan, Lorenzo Posocco incorporates everyday scenes into the display of the iconic boutique on Via Montenapoleone, capturing the relationship between the street scenes that pass by the windows every day and the becalmed world of the store within. Cities are formed of such a cross-pollination, charging the looks with purpose and relevance. By placing a cubed video screen showing street scenes of Milan inside the display, Lorenzo invites viewers into a reality where the exalted world of fashion meets the intimacy of the everyday in an homage to the energy of the city.
Lorenzo Posocco is a stylist, editor and consultant. He was nominated in 2019 as one of the most influential stylists in music by Hollywood Reporter. His work can be described as sleek and aspirational, yet fearless and relatable.
“Unboxing brings me back to synthesis. I wanted to imagine everything in a real, concrete context. A process that removes the external structures and looks inside. My installation rests on the idea that fashion walks and lives. It’s not static, it’s all around us. I wanted to explore a cross-section of daily life, to reflect and uplift those who will walk before the windows.”
